White cyc

Two of the largest white cycs in LA, on one lot. The difference between them is what you are putting in front of the wall.

Stage 01

Prelit and water-set ready

The wall arrives lit, so a prelight day comes off the schedule. Water-set and gas-line ready for effects work.

Stage 02

Turntable and lightbox

At 142 ft, the deepest white cove cyc in LA that we know of. Curved where the walls meet the floor and ceiling, so light wraps with no seams. A 21 ft hydraulic turntable and a 10 ft × 40 ft lightbox overhead.

Black cyc

The largest permanent 3-wall black cyc in LA, to our knowledge. A black wall absorbs instead of bouncing, so the subject sits in void with no seam behind it.

100 × 160 × 25 ft of permanent black cyc, with elephant-door vehicle access and room for a live audience.

Stage 11 is LA's largest permanent pre-lit green cyc, 50 × 100 × 28 ft, with a gantry and flying flats. It is the same surface whether you call it a green cyc or a green screen.

Prelit

Stages 01 and 11 arrive lit. That is a prelight day you do not have to schedule or pay for.

Unlit

The rest light to your look. The wall lights separately from the subject, so budget fixtures and time for it.

Floor prep

The floor is part of the surface. Builds and vehicle moves need protection and prep time.

Spill control

Three-wall cycs bounce. Plan negative fill for contrast-heavy work, or shoot the black cyc on Stage 03.

Sizes, lighting and vehicle access for all six cyc setups. Ask us anything that isn't covered here.

What size cyc do I need for a car?

Stage 02 is the automotive cyc: a white cove with a 21 ft hydraulic turntable and a 10 ft × 40 ft lightbox. For a larger vehicle or more than one car, Stage 03 is 16,000 sq ft with elephant-door access.

Can you paint the cyc?

Yes. We'll paint any cyc any color for a fee. Tell us the color when you inquire so the prep days and the cost go into the quote alongside your shoot days.

Is the cyc prelit?

Stage 01 and Stage 11 are prelit, so the wall is ready when you arrive. The others light to your look, and we can quote a lighting package with the stage.

Can I drive a vehicle onto the cyc?

Yes. Stages 02, 03, 11 and 14 all have drive-in access. Stage 02 adds a dock-high door and a 21 ft turntable, and Stage 03 takes larger vehicles through elephant doors.

How much does it cost to paint a cyc?

It's a fee on top of the stage day rate, quoted with your stage. Tell us the color when you inquire so the prep days and the paint go into the same quote.
