Following a four year hiatus Nicki Minaj returns with her freshly dropped album, Queen, and the tracks are fiery. This past April Nicki came to Thunder to make a music video for one of the new tracks, ‘Ganja Burn’. Produced by Source Pictures, stages 3 + 1 were transformed in to a windy desert in one scene and flames emerging from the ground in another. The video, directed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, involves an epic preamble and a recreation of Queen’s cover art(which was also created by Mert and Marcus) ” (Pitchfork, 2018).
