Built-In Excellence.
Every stage booking at Thunder comes with the full facility — production offices, wardrobe and makeup rooms, green rooms, dedicated fiber, and 400-space parking. G&E rentals and production supplies are required in-house, so your crew has everything on site without coordinating outside vendors.
All bookings are day-rate (12 hours). Full balance required to hold a date. No film permit required inside our stages — pyrotechnics and exterior shoots may require permits; contact us to discuss.
Booking FAQ
We know every project is unique, and you might have some questions before getting started.
No, you do not need a permit inside our stages. You will only need a permit if you are filming on the street, or if you are doing anything wit pyrotechnics (which would also be outside)
Our largest stage is Stage 03 at 16,000 sq ft — a full black cyc space with vehicle access and dock-high loading. Stage 11 is our most compact dedicated stage at 5,000 sq ft with a three-wall green cyc. We have 18 stages total ranging between those sizes.
G&E rentals, production supplies, and heavy machinery rentals (lifts, condors) are required in-house. Catering is no longer mandatory, though it remains available on site. We make exceptions on a per-project basis — contact us to discuss your specific needs.
We do not take deposits to hold dates. To secure a booking, the full balance must be paid upfront. This ensures our stages remain available for productions that are ready to commit.
We have 400 vehicle spaces on site. Parking is $12 per vehicle per day, $40 for trucks and trailers. Overnight parking is permitted at the same rate. All parking is on our private lot — no street parking required.
No — all stages are booked on a per-day basis only. A day rate is a 12-hour booking. Half-days are not available.
Yes. All productions are required to carry appropriate insurance coverage before shooting at Thunder Studios. Please refer to our insurance and policies page for full requirements and minimums.
