Coming Soon! Thunder Co-Produces Indie Sci-Fi Film Water Bearer 👽

The #ThunderXR stage is taking it to the outer (climate) limits this summer with a special indie sci-fi project. Thunder’s very own CEO, Rodric David, and Head of Production, Candela Rebot, join as Co-Producers of the film, with our in-house XR team at the helm: George Main as the XR Supervisor, Mitzella Brenda as the XR Technician, and Randy Hall as the XR Production Coordinator.

The director approached Thunder’s XR team to help source and modify various custom environments and various plates. The project required a combination of driving plates, still environments, stage, and unreal environments, utilizing all of Thunder’s XR service offerings.

The most challenging scene involved actors jousting on “moving cars” which could not be legally driven on the streets. To resolve, our team rolled the vehicles on stage and utilized the XR screen and virtual backdrops. From start to finish, the Thunder XR Team assisted in early planning stages of the scenes, advised what approach would work best, and guided the client through preparation and filming to bring their creative direction to life.

Thunder is haute, haute, haute this summer hosting another 🔥 high-end designer advertising campaign. Iconic fashion house YSL returns to Thunder with the eclectic lineup of Dominic Fike, Romeo Beckham, and Zoë Kravitz to showcase their latest collection.

Summer Is for Every Body With Target

This summer, Target rolls out a summer swimsuit campaign shot at Thunder and full of body positivity. We love the informative ad that showcases real women embracing their bikini bodies. “Campaigns like this are so important because girls and women need to see others embracing their bodies in ads no matter what size they are.” Said influencer Chante Burkett.

Glow With Da Flow Rave

The Glow-Up is real! Thunder hosted the special after party at the end of June for Day-Trip in partnership with UBL filled with lights, music, and dance. Featuring two stages, the event had both an indoor and outdoor experience to keep the ravers going all night.

MOBILE BROADCASTING

World Conference at the Anaheim Convention Center

This month, Thunder’s mobile broadcasting team headed to the Anaheim Convention Center to produce World Conference 2022 for clients The Switch and Victory Outreach International. Thunder provided the mobile unit and engineering services for the successful four-day event.

ReKT Deal Closes

The tour was an introduction to Thunder’s XR capabilities and Infinite Reality as well as an in-depth discussion of the future of the open Web3 Metaverse. iR Launches Global Metaverse Hub

As part of the European expansion plans, iR announced on July 1, 2022 a strategic relationship with the University of Luxembourg’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability, and Trust (SnT) to introduce a global, open Metaverse from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
